Karachi : Winter Cup Karachi Women’s Boxing Championship 2023 was held at Kukri
Sports Complex Lyari, in which Lyari and Baldia Town teams also participated. Syed Hazrat Umar and
club senior Rizwan participated fully in their club’s Girls Counter Cup Karachi Women’s Boxing
Championship, out of which 6 fighters won gold medals and 7 fighters won silver medals. Alishba, Batul
Fatima, Mehek and Tania stood out by winning gold medals along with Arhama, Arbia, Aruj, Fabiha,
Lareeb, Iqra, Rabab won silver medals among all 4 fighters selection Lyari Inter Divisional Boxing
Championship. The special guests of the 2023 program were Ghulam Muhammad, Chairman Ustad
Fidah Hussain, Referee Judge Mr. Sabad Sher Muhammad, Abdul Razzaq Secretary Sindh, Haji Abid Brohi
Vice President Sindh Boxing Association, International Boxers Rustom, Abdul Khaliq, Abdul Waheed, Mr.
Adnan Afridi, Women Boxing Organizer Seema and Awami. The editor-in-chief of the newspaper, Syed
Umar Shah, attended.
