Peshawar, Lahore: (Dunya News) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s budget of 1332, Punjab’s budget of more than 3200 billion rupees will be presented today.

The budget of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for the financial year 2022.23 will be presented on June 13. The total volume of the budget is proposed to be Rs. 1332 billion. The budget proposes to allocate more than Rs. 418 billion for annual development program. According to the finance document, the development budget proposes to allocate more than Rs 222 billion for the settled districts and more than Rs 94 billion for the tribal districts.
To allocate more than Rs. 913 billion for current expenditure in the budget, to allocate more than Rs. 670 billion to the province from the distributable revenue of the federation, to estimate the provincial revenue at Rs. 85 billion, Giving more than Rs. 107 billion, it is proposed to keep the current expenditure of the province at more than Rs. 913 billion.
The Punjab budget proposes 15% increase in salaries and pensions of government employees, approval of 2194 development projects, completion of about 100 development projects with foreign aid and loans.
The budget proposed more than Rs 28 billion for relief cards for the people and more than Rs 2.5 billion for education cards for poor students.
Punjab’s budget of over Rs 3200 billion will be presented today
The volume of Punjab’s budget for the next financial year will be more than Rs 3200 billion, the development budget has been set at Rs 685 billion, details have come to light.

Special concession will be given to low resource persons in payment of electricity bills, concession given in provincial revenue will be maintained.
The facility package on availability of low cost flour will be continued in the next financial year as well. Rs 101 billion will be allocated for special programs.
Production sector will be cut by 17% and service sector by 9%, budget for social sector will be increased by 33%, Rs 272 billion is being set aside for social sector, infrastructure development will be increased by 11%.
Punjab budget will be presented by Owais Leghari, Chief Minister handed over the responsibility

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that next fiscal year 2022-23 budget will be people friendly, provincial budget will be federal style, special aid package is being introduced in the budget to control inflation, increase the purchasing power of the people. Food prices will be controlled, efficient use of energy will be ensured to reduce load shedding.
He further said that special concession will be given to low resource persons in payment of electricity bills, no new tax is being levied in the budget of next financial year of Punjab, concession given in provincial revenue will be maintained. Convenience package related to price availability will be continued in the next financial year as well. Punjab’s budget for the next financial year will be better than before in terms of volume. The government’s first priority in this year’s budget will be the development of the social sector and the recovery of the economy.
Hamza Shahbaz said that in the budget 2022-23, many important initiatives are being introduced in the fields of education, health, agriculture and communication. Punjab’s budget for the next financial year will be balanced and people-friendly. Punjab’s next budget will bring good news for both government employees and the working class.
PTI, PML-Q decide to protest in the budget session of the Punjab Assembly
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and PML-Q have decided to stage a full-scale protest in the budget session of the Punjab Assembly while important decisions regarding the by-election strategy were approved.
A joint meeting of PTI Punjab and PML-Q parliamentary party was held in the Punjab Assembly. Important decisions were taken regarding the budget meeting.
The meeting was presided over by Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar and Parliamentary Leader PTI Sabtin Khan. A strategy was also worked out.
The participants in the meeting expressed their determination that the government tactics would be used in the by-elections.
Later talking to media, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the government is going to increase petrol and gas prices further. He will be accompanied by two deputy opposition leaders.
He further said that what is the budget to be presented by the government which does not have majority, what will be the session of Punjab Assembly tomorrow, the government is not running Hamza, the police is running the government, Punjab has become a police state, the government has lost its mind. We will stand with Imran Khan like a plywood wall.
